Due to the promotion of our present headteacher the governors are seeking to appoint an acting headteacher for the autumn term 2011 whilst they seek to secure the future leadership of the school.. The successful candidate is likely to be a deputy headteacher or an enthusiastic and experienced classroom teacher seeking management and leadership experience in this highly successful village school. This is an ideal opportunity for professional development for someone aspiring to headship.
Applicants seeking secondment must have the approval of their Governing Body before applying for this post.
As the present Headteacher teaches Foundation and Years 1 and 2, experience of this age group is essential. The post has a teaching commitment currently of 0.5 fte.
