Aspiring heads who have preferably achieved NPQH may wish to apply for this full time post, to provide cover during the absence of the headteacher, as a secondment. The governors are seeking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic new leader, with the ability to engage with children and parents, as well as encourage, support and empower our hard working staff. They will be keen to uphold the strong Christian teachings of the school. The successful candidate will be someone looking for an opportunity to make a real difference.

You should have: excellent leadership, management and organisational skills; the aptitude to lead and manage change, whilst developing strong and progressive working relationships; the skills to develop a creative, stimulating and rich curriculum and a desire to raise attainment; the enthusiasm to create an environment fit for learning and establish a learning culture among the whole school population; the ability to raise expectations and aspirations to give each child the best possible start in life and a high regard for the Church of England character of the school and to uphold the Christian ethos.
