Shaldon Primary School is a popular, innovative and successful village school situated on the coast of South Devon. The school held Beacon status for six years before going on to be one of the first schools in the country to become a National Support School. The Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational leader with enthusiasm and the ability to engage and communicate with children, staff, parents and other members of the wider community in which the school is located. They expect the new headteacher to uphold the high standards the school currently enjoys and have the vision to continue to move the school forward. In return the school can offer happy and enthusiastic children, a highly skilled and motivated staff and a supportive governing body.
