The governors of this small rural school are looking for an acting headteacher to be in post from January until May half-term, whilst the current headteacher is on maternity leave. Experience of working in a primary school at senior management level is essential, along with excellent teaching skills. If you are a good communicator and could lead a committed team, then we would like to hear from you. We have happy, well-motivated pupils, an attractive learning environment, and a skilled staff team. Candidates should be able to demonstrate that they have a commitment to supporting staff with professional development. The post has a teaching component of at least 0.4.
