This exhibition ‘Heaven in Devon’ is celebrating 1,100 years of Christianity in Devon.
Over 80 schools from across Devon will be contributing pieces of art to the exhibition to help to raise money for education activities across the world. It features over 200 canvas paintings, eight 10-metre long fabric banners based on designs from over 150 pupils and numerous life-sized human figure sculptures which include full-sized versions of The Last Supper and The Nativity.
Similar exhibitions organised by Devon Education Services, now part of Devon County Council's Learning and Development Partnership, have raised over £14,000 for schools in Africa, Sri Lanka and India in the last three year.
The exhibition is open Tuesday 2 June to Friday 5 June, 10.30am – 4.30 pm, and Saturday 6 June 10.30 am - 11.30 am.
