The school provides for students with severe, complex and profound learning difficulties and all have an SEN statement. Situated in a unique part of the South Hams it has an outstanding modern building, with hydrotherapy pool. Ofsted July 2008: ‘a good school’ with ‘a number of outstanding features’ – including Post 16 and ‘exceptional’ relationships between students and adults. The governors and staff are keen to find another dynamic, enthusiastic, deeply caring and committed headteacher.
